Our ZERO Group's business outline consists of the nucleus vehicle transportation business that handles more than 3 million units of new vehicles and used cars a year, the automobile-related business such as vehicle maintenance and car auctions, the general cargo transportation business that handles cargos other than automobiles and the human resources business that manages private automobiles and dispatch of human resources.

Our company was originally established in 1961 as Nissan Transportation Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. Since then, it made progress in step with the development of Japan's car market. In 2001, it became independent from Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. by way of a management buyout (MBO) and changed its name to ZERO CO., LTD. In 2005, it was listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and has thereafter achieved growth through such means as expanding the areas of new vehicle transportation mainly in Japan, increasing used car transportations and taking in transportation-related businesses.

And now, under the circumstances where Japan's car market is expected to be on a path toward contraction and customer needs will be more diversified in the years ahead, it is the matter of utmost importance for our company to seek to consolidate its business foundation by establishing an even more meticulous and efficient transportation system than ever before. In light of this, we decided to take a new step with the aim of continuing sustainable growth of our company.

In May 2014, our company concluded a capital and business alliance agreement with Tan Chong International Limited (TCIL) Group based in Singapore, and decided to enter into full-scale business in the market of ASEAN countries that is expected to develop rapidly. We will move ahead with new businesses fast on the strength of the service technologies, know-how, expertise and operation systems that we have accumulated on the frontline over the long years, and more than anything else, with our strong mindset of "handling transportation with good care" and our strategic partnership with Tan Chong International Limited Group.
